Thématique

I-Universalité des protéines d’adhérence cellulaire

Purification et caractérisation de protéines matricielles dans les tissus animaux et la paroi des végétaux. Etude de l’impact des glycosylations sur la conformation des protéines d’adhérence cellulaire et leur reconnaissance par les cellules animales et végétales. Biofonctionalisation de matériaux hybrides.

Cas de la fibronectine et de la vitronectine du plasma sanguin et des matrices extracellulaires et de leurs homologues dans les tissus végétaux (ANR 2010 programme Blanc Green Fib : « Substitut végétal de fibronectine et fonctionnalisation de matériaux »)

 II- Caractérisation de polymères protéiques hétérologues multifonctionnels

Rôle dans l’immunité et l’adaptation aux stress environnementaux.  Etude de l’implication des séquences de glycosylations dans la formation de polymères protéiques en association avec des lectines :

1) Cas des interactions fibronectine et vitronectine du plasma sanguin avec les lectines circulantes (Mannose Binding proteins et Collectines)

2) Cas des interactions entre les protéines d’adhérences cellulaires des parois avec les lectines végétales.

Applications en recherche biomédicale, cosmétique et agronomique.
